Tips & Hints for Resalers
Ideas from Too Good to be Threw and our Sharers for your shop

This time around, we look to our Sharers from our Sharing Discussion Board for their unique twists and tips. Thanks to all! Good an idea to share? Email me at SarasotaKate at yahoo.com

At Their Service:
Julie Buckman contributed this fun "customer service" tip:
I have three hooks for clothes in my dressing room.
One says "maybe" one says "Nope, No way, No How" and one says "like it, love it, GOTTA HAVE IT!".
My ladies love it and they always chuckle.

Improving Your Shop:
Tracie suggests a unique way to spread the word about her shop:
You can go to www.whitepages.com and reverse a phone number to get an address. I check all our local papers for people selling things related to my store: put the phone number in reverse look up and get their name and address. I send these people cards introducing my shop. I get alot of calls from this and most didn't even know about the shop or consider it. You can also do this with yard sale ads: put the address in the reverse address and get their name. Send them cards too. An idea for anyone looking to get their name out there.

Great Promo Idea:
Kate Buck of Sugardaddy’s promo line is
"We offer Antiques - Eclectic Enhancements - Sophisticated Furnishings & Accessories - Architectural Oddities - and Cheeky Whatisits."

Caring For Stuff:
A earth-safe way to clean clogged drains: pour 1/2 cup baking soda down, followed by 1/2 cup white vinegar. Cover, let work for a few minutes, then pour in boiling water.
